The GSA Region 9, Edward R. Roybal Federal Office Building and US Courthouse, USBC Audio Video Courtroom Infrastructure Project is now complete!
APSI completed construction management, scheduling, constructability reviews, estimating and commissioning services for $2.5 million of audio video infrastructure upgrades for 10 existing courtrooms and ancillary spaces on the 8th, 13th, 15th, and 16th floors of the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse. The project’s primary goals were to modernize the audio video equipment and functionality of the existing courtrooms and to clean up the residual and antiquated A/V equipment systems and associated cabling. The building remained fully operational throughout the construction of the project and all construction work was scheduled after hours in order to minimize the disturbance to building occupants and to maintain safety.
