    APSI Awarded Fort Sumpter Waterfront Dock Project in Charleston, SC

    APSI was recently awarded the construction management services contract to oversee the repairs of the existing dock at Fort Sumpter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park in Charleston, SC.  Fort Sumter is a sea fort built on an artificial island and Fort Moultrie is a series of fortifications on Sullivan's Island, both protecting Charleston, South Carolina, from naval invasion.  This project includes a new fender system, replacement of damaged concrete deck panels, select reinforcement of the piers, and repairs to the dock's electrical and lighting systems. We look forward to working on this project continuing our relationship with NPS!

    APSI Awarded New US Courthouse in Huntsville, AL

    APSI was recently awarded the construction management and commissioning services contract for the new, $68 million US Courthouse in Huntsville, Alabama. The 123,000 sf Federal Courthouse includes District, Magistrate and Bankruptcy courtrooms, as well as office spaces for clerks, U.S. Probation, USMS, and the Bankruptcy Administrator. GSA intends the design of the new courthouse to be neoclassical/Greek revival in style, in keeping with other recent federal courthouses in the State of Alabama.

    APSI Awarded John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Contract

    APSI, as part of the SIRIS team, was recently awarded professional construction management services and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Review Services at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  This Memorial Interpretation Public Space Renovation project consists of upgrading and updating the Center's public spaces, including the Hall of States, Hall of Nations, and Grand Foyer by creating a unified experience that celebrates the Kennedy values of Courage, Justice, Service, Gratitude, and Freedom.  The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is an agency of the U.S. Government and a living Presidential memorial.  It is the largest cultural facility of its kind and we are honored to be a part of this project!

    APSI Awarded NPS Meridian Hill Park Project in Washington DC

    APSI was awarded the construction management services contract to oversee the restoration and rehabilitation of the lower plaza of Meridian Hill Park in Washington DC for the National Park Service (NPS). The US Government purchased these grounds in 1910 and the park was designed and built between 1912 and 1940. This project involves cleaning and re-pointing historic walls and monuments as well as extensive stormwater management upgrades. We are excited about this project and look forward to continuing our relationship with NPS!

    APSI Awarded NPS Historic Fort Woods Project at the Statue of Liberty National Monument

    APSI was awarded the construction management services contract to oversee the rehabilitation of the stone walls of the historic Fort Wood at Liberty Island, NY for the National Park Service (NPS). Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty’s Pedestal has rested atop star-shaped Fort Wood, which now contains the Statue of Liberty Exhibit. Visited by over 4 million last year, Fort Wood needs functional and aesthetic maintenance. The prominent granite-faced masonry walls and coping need various types of cleaning, repair, replacement and joint repointing work. We are excited to be a part of this project and look forward to working on such a historic/iconic site. We have partnered with NPS for the past 15 years and look forward to another successful project!

    To The House Foundation Thanksgiving Meal Donations

    Community Outreach: Our very own Ernie Narbona, CMIT started To The House Foundation with his family and friends eight years ago with the goal of feeding families in need in his hometown of Los Angeles at Thanksgiving. Last year, 285 families were able to enjoy a thanksgiving dinner all because of this annual flag football event for a purpose. This year, in lieu of their annual event, they are releasing a Special Edition Turkey Bowl to the House VIII “TRI8UTE” piece shirt in honor of the late Kobe Bryant.  Please note: To The House Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID # 83-2269790)...
