APSI was recently awarded a 5-year contract with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), providing construction quality management services to assist OFPM facilities for the Gaithersburg, Maryland campus. NIST is a federal agency under the Department of Commerce whose mission it is to “Promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life.”
APSI has been serving GSA Region 9 for the past few years as they upgrade the Social Security Administration facility at the Frank Hagel Federal Building in Richmond, CA. Based on the outstanding work of our staff, GSA has awarded us with another 3 years to support the ongoing construction efforts.
Katherine brings over 15 years of experience in many facets of contract administration and field operations. Throughout her career she has worked closely with many owners’ representatives, subcontractors, clients and various other professionals to ensure the timely turnover of more than one thousand high end condominium/apartment units.
APSI is providing program and construction management services for the renovation of six service center facilities. Currently, more than 900 field and customer service employees operate from seven service centers, as well as provide fleet support for more than 500 vehicles and construction equipment.
APSI, in a joint venture with SixthDimension was recently awarded two contracts from the County of Monterey to provide on-call construction management services for various general projects within Monterey County, as well as various correctional facility projects.
Garry brings to the APSI team over 40 years of extensive experience in the construction management of medical, skilled nursing, and utility / infrastructure projects ranging in size from $50,000 to $100 million. As a retired veteran from the US Army, he is familiar with OSHPD and holds a California General Contractor’s License.
APSI is providing project construction management for the pre-construction and construction phases, including scheduling/project controls, estimating, and field inspection/document control services, of new health-care facilities in three CDCR facilities in Kern County, CA.
APSI in a joint venture with SixthDimension was awarded three Access Barrier Removal contracts with the State of California, Department of General Services in May 2015. These contracts are for construction project management services for accessibility improvements and associated infrastructure repair of multiple state buildings. Work begins in the summer of 2015 and will continue over the next five years.
Syrus brings over 35 years of progressive hands-on experience in the construction industry throughout the USA as well as overseas. Through his experience he has gained a unique perspective and project experience ranging from construction supervision, management and inspection.
George has joined the APSI team, as a 30-year seasoned construction manager and owners authorized representative. He is recognized for his expert construction management skills, project coordination abilities with outstanding Means & Methods construction techniques including LEED requirements, as well an in-depth knowledge of commercial codes and California SWPP, CEQA, AQMD Cal-DAAG, DGS & DSA requirements.
