APSI was awarded the construction management services contract to oversee the rehabilitation of the stone walls of the historic Fort Wood at Liberty Island, NY for the National Park Service (NPS). Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty’s Pedestal has rested atop star-shaped Fort Wood, which now contains the Statue of Liberty Exhibit. Visited by over 4 million last year, Fort Wood needs functional and aesthetic maintenance. The prominent granite-faced masonry walls and coping need various types of cleaning, repair, replacement and joint repointing work. We are excited to be a part of this project and look forward to working on such a historic/iconic site. We have partnered with NPS for the past 15 years and look forward to another successful project!

Although COVID-19 has changed life as we know it, one thing remains the same: children are still counting on CHOC and supporters like us to help them get better. As a non-profit organization, CHOC relies on community generosity to provide leading-edge care for infants, children and adolescents close to home.
