The recently completed new Saddleback Athletics Stadium and Site Improvements for the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) will be the centerpiece of the ongoing overhaul at Saddleback College. A new 8,000 seat capacity, artificial turf football and track and field stadium were constructed where the old football stadium and golf driving range were located. The new stadium includes an elevated Press Box, which will be used heavily for recruiting, along with eight new standalone buildings for meeting rooms, trainer’s room, ice and hydrotherapy room, restrooms, storage and concessions. In addition, two artificial turf football practice fields, a new soccer field and a dual sided thrower’s park for track and field events were constructed. This $49M design-build project team included Steinberg Hart and PCL Construction Services. We are very excited to share completion of this project. Congrats to the entire team!
