Last month, APSI hosted a Back-to- School Drive to collect backpacks for Orangewood Foundation. This year, we were able to donate 21 backpacks to students in need! We are thrilled to work with such an impactful organization and look forward to more events in the future.
We would like to extend our congratulations to David Adelberg, DBIA, CCM, LEED AP, on his promotion to Vice President of Special Projects, where he will oversee some of APSI’s larger and more complex projects, including our federal courthouse portfolio. David’s 20+ years of service to APSI is greatly appreciated and we look forward to his continued growth as a leader. Congratulations David!
Renovations to the 12th and 13th floor of the Phillip Burton Federal Building & Courthouse are now complete! APSI provided construction management, scheduling, and estimating services for this $3 million, 4,500 sf FBI renovation project for GSA, which included restrooms, fitness center and a staff lounge. This project was challenging because APSI and all contractor personnel had to coordinate with FBI staff and arrange for escorts to access the work area and cameras or other electronic devices were strictly prohibited into the space.
Congrats to the team on the successful completion of this project!
801 I Street Elevator Modernization is now complete! APSI provided construction management services on this $2 million, design-build project for GSA at the Sacramento Federal Building in Sacramento, CA.
Congrats to the team on the successful completion of this project!
The Second Bank of the United States Restoration project for NPS is now complete! Constructed between 1819-1824, the Second Bank of the United States is a National Historic Landmark, a prominent visual feature within the landscape of Independence National Historical Park and a recognized landmark within the City of Philadelphia.
As a distinguished early Greek Revival building, the Second Bank is of major historical significance and currently serves as a portrait and interpretive gallery showcasing the Park Museum Collections. The restoration included roof replacement and associated features, preservation of exterior marble walls, repair or replacement of wood windows. The project included professional art-handling and moving of the park’s museum collections, which was stored inside the museum and at a separate, secured storage facility.
Congrats to the team on the successful completion of this project!

The wharf repairs at Christianstead National Historic Site in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands are now complete!
APSI provided construction management services on this $6.5 million, design-bid-build project, which replaced the existing wharf bulkhead and repaired the associated wharf apron. The work included environmental and cultural resource protection mitigation measures.
We are very excited to share completion of this project for the National Park Service. Congrats to the entire team!
Structural Flood Mitigation at Cottonwood Cove in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Searchlight, NV is now complete!
APSI provided construction management services for the structural flash flood mitigation of the Cottonwood Cove developed area, including new diversion dikes and channels. The diversion system diverts approximately 60% to 75% of flood waters away from the existing drainages that flow directly into the developed area to a cove north of Cottonwood Cove where it can discharge directly into Lake Mohave without affecting visitors, employees, or property.
We are very excited to share completion of this project for the National Park Service. Congrats to the entire team!
