GSA Region 9 awarded APSI the FBI 12th and 13th Floor Renovation at the Phillip Burton Federal Building and Courthouse in San Francisco, CA. We will be providing construction management services for this design-bid-build project. We look forward to getting started and building on our 3 decade long relationship with GSA region 9!
APSI was recently selected to provide project management services for the restoration of Second Bank of the United States. Constructed between 1819-1824, the Second Bank of the United States is a National Historic Landmark; a prominent visual feature within the landscape of Independence National Historical Park and a recognized landmark within the City of Philadelphia. The purpose of the project is to replace the roof, repair the stone walls, and replace the wood windows of the building. Our team will be working carefully with the Secretary of Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties to ensure all historical elements are preserved and maintained. We are excited for the opportunity to work on such an important project!
APSI is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded another project with the National Park Service – the renovation of the iconic Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. We are excited to partner with the National Park Service and SIRIS LLC to provide construction management services. We are grateful for the opportunity to work on such an important memorial in our capitol city and look forward to continuing our relationship with NPS!
APSI in a joint venture with Sixth Dimension, recently completed this $73.6 million, design-bid-build jail housing addition that provides 576 new beds in eight housing units as well as program spaces for inmates, administration and staff support spaces and a public entrance with video visitation. The addition consists of a single-story administration and public entrance area and a two-story, four level inmate housing unit with a connection to the existing jail. APSI provided construction management, including scheduling, estimating, and inspection services as well as the procurement and implementation and training of Procore, the online collaborative document project controls systems. Congratulations to our team on a job well done!
APSI was recently awarded another construction project with the National Park Service – the Structural Flood Mitigation for Visitor and Employee Safety, at Cottonwood Cove in Lake Mead. This project consists of the construction of structural flash flood mitigation, and it is anticipated that these structural flood mitigation components require construction of new diversion dikes and new diversion channels within Ranger Wash, above the Cottonwood Cove developed area. The proposed diversion system will provide additional flood protection beyond that provided by the existing system of dikes and channels that are currently in place. This updated system will divert approximately 60% to 75% of flood waters away from the existing drainages that flow directly into the developed area to a cove north of Cottonwood Cove where it can discharge directly into Lake Mohave without affecting visitors, employees, or property. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with NPS and working on yet another national park!

APSI was recently awarded the Chapin Mesa Water Tank Replacement project, inside the Mesa Verde National Park. This project will remove the two existing bolted steel domestic water storage tanks and replace them with a singular storage tank. The primary components of work include dismantling and removal of one existing 80,000 gallon tank, excavation, and site preparation for the new 100,000 gallon tank. All work performed will be undertaken with the utmost care to ensure respect and preservation of natural and cultural resources, and will minimize disruption to NPS operations and facility activities. We are very excited to continue our work with NPS and to do yet another project in our beautiful national parks!
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce our co-founder, Vidya Apte, has passed away. Ashok and Vidya founded APSI as a project controls firm, specializing in scheduling in 1990.
The saying that behind every great man there is a great woman doesn’t apply here, as Vidya wasn’t behind anyone. Along with Ashok, she steered the effort to launch a new company and grow it into an industry leader.
Her warmth contributed to our culture of family at APSI and she will be deeply missed.
APSI is excited to welcome Cynthia Inman as our new Human Resources Manager! Cynthia brings significant experience in human resources spanning across multiple industries. She will assist us in continuing our proud tradition of long term retention, further the APSI team experience and we are very happy to have her on board. Welcome Cynthia!
